Getting Started
Can I order a Minecraft server today?
Not yet. Starbound is in pre-launch and public paid hosting orders are unavailable. Creating an account does not purchase a server.
Can I create a Starbound account?
Yes. You can register and sign in to the client area while the hosting platform is being developed.
What is the Founders Beta?
A small planned testing phase where selected participants can help evaluate the hosting experience. Invitations, timing, and conditions will be communicated before participation.
Are the displayed prices final?
No. The prices currently shown are illustrative and may change before launch.
Minecraft Hosting
Will Starbound support Java and Bedrock?
Support for both Minecraft Java and Bedrock is planned. Exact versions and software options will be confirmed as infrastructure testing progresses.
Will I be able to install plugins?
Paper/Purpur and plugin management are part of the development goals. Available server software and supported installation methods will be confirmed before launch.
Can I upload my existing Minecraft world?
File management is being developed for the client area. World uploads and migration guidance will be published once tested on live hosting infrastructure.
Will server backups be available?
Backup controls are under development and testing. Backup frequency, retention, restore support, and plan availability will be confirmed before launch. Always keep independent copies of important worlds.
Accounts & Billing
How do I reset my password?
Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page, request a recovery email, and enter the full eight-digit code. Do not share your recovery code with anyone.
Will signing up charge me?
No. Registering an account does not create a paid hosting order. Public paid orders are not available yet.
How will cancellations and refunds work?
The final cancellation, refund, renewal, and consumer-rights terms will be published before paid orders become available.

Where can I get announcements or help?
Join the official Starbound Discord for community updates and pre-launch information. Formal customer support arrangements will be announced before launch.
Does Minecraft allow paid server hosting?
Minecraft servers must follow the official Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines. Server owners are responsible for ensuring their use and monetization comply.
Where can I read the policies?
Visit the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages. They are currently marked as pre-launch drafts while legal and operational details are being verified.
